Check out this easy beef street tacos recipe for a filling family dinner that requires little preparation! I found these adorable Mission street tacos at Kroger, and just had to try them!
One thing I love about these street tacos is that they are the perfect size for the kids!
This street tacos recipe can be prepped, cooked & ready to eat in 20 minutes! It's a great option for your next taco night!
Mexican flavored recipes are always a go to around our house, and we will definitely be adding this one to our list of easy weeknight meals!
Beef Street Tacos Recipe
These delicious, easy to make beef street tacos can be prepped, cooked & served in only 20 minutes! These street tacos are a great family-friendly dinner for your next taco night!
- 1 package Mission street tacos flour tortillas
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 2 packets taco seasoning
- 2 diced Roma tomatoes
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 chopped fresh jalapeño
- 3 stalks green onion
- 1 8 oz bag shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 8 oz container sour cream

Brown ground beef in large pan.

As ground beef continues to brown; cut the tomatoes, onion, jalapeño & green onions. Set aside.

After beef is completely browned, drain grease from skillet.

Add 1/2 cup water and 2 taco seasoning packets to browned meat.

Allow to simmer for approximately 8 minutes.

Use the meat plus all the add ins to build your street tacos.

Top with shredded cheese and sour cream.

We chose to use beef in our street tacos, but chicken, steak or pork could be substituted based on your personal preference.
A large toothpick could be used to hold two tacos together and upright, as shown in the recipe's photo.
