How to Make Bacon Wrapped Shrimp Jalapeno Poppers
Bacon wrapped shrimp jalapeno poppers, also known as "Devil on a Horseback," are a delicious, flavor-packed recipe that we often enjoy down south. Growing up in the Cajun culture has taught me so many different ways to prepare seafood. My father-in-law taught me how to make these yummy bacon wrapped shrimp jalapeño poppers and I am so excited to share them with you!

How to Make Bacon Wrapped Shrimp Jalapeño Poppers
Ingredients
- 6 fresh jalapenos (deseeded & deveined)
- 1 dozen raw shrimp (peeled & headed)
- 1 block sharp cheddar cheese (sliced)
- 1 package bacon
Instructions
- Slice jalapeños in half to make two long halves. Remove seeds and vein from jalapeño.
- Place a slice of sharp cheddar cheese in each jalapeño half.
- Add a shrimp on top of the cheddar cheese.
- Repeat for all jalapeño slices.
- Wrap a piece of bacon around each jalapeño popper and secure with a toothpick.
- Place on the grill for approximately 15 minutes, or until bacon is crispy.
- Enjoy!
Notes:
My favorite way to cook these is out on the grill, but another great option is to use the Ikea Grill Pan on the stovetop!
