DIY Hydrangea Wreath Tutorial
DIY Hydrangea Wreath:
The DIY Hydrangea Wreath is a great do-it-yourself project that is budget-friendly and easy to personalize!
DIFFICULTY: EASY
SUPPLIES:
- 10-12 hydrangeas (colors of your choice)
- I chose green and off white colors and shopped the 50% off floral sale at Hobby Lobby, feel free to get the same color flowers if you desire
- 1 wreath frame (I found it for $4.97 at WalMart)
- Floral Wire or Hot Glue
- If you think you will reuse the wreath frame later on, I would use floral wire to secure the blooms so they can be easily removed later. For a faster project, use a dab of hot glue to secure the blooms in place and avoid using floral wire altogether.
- Burlap (or any thick wire-lined ribbon)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Weave stems of hydrangeas in the wreath frame working your way around until all hydrangeas are in place.
- Secure each bloom with floral wire or a dab of hot glue.
- Cut burlap or wire-edged ribbon for the top of the wreath.
- Secure with floral wire.
- Secure on the wall with a nail, or place on a wreath hanger.
I would love to see pictures of your finished wreaths! I used mine for a mantle centerpiece for a while, then moved it to a wreath hanger on the front door.More DIY posts you'll love:DIY Bathtub Tray30 Minute DIY Brick Fire PitDIY Accent Side TableFollow along with The Berry Basics on Pinterest & Facebook! What's your favorite flower to use in a wreath?
