I'm not sure about you, but who doesn't love something dipped in chocolate!? I chose to dip in white chocolate and milk chocolate, but you can pick your favorite kinds of chocolates when making your board! Dark chocolate would really taste great as well!
This board has a treat for everyone at your party! It's easy to make and easy to customize.
If you haven't tried making a charcuterie board, now is your time! They have quickly become my go to, and most favorite thing, to serve at parties and gatherings!
TIME SAVER: Buy already dipped strawberries and pretzels. This is a perfect option if you are in a hurry, or just don't feel like dipping everything yourself.
I used a large wooden cutting board to display my valentines day dipped dessert board, but any large platter would work great. Feel free to use some small heart shaped dishes for the candy if you have them.
Things I dipped: fresh strawberries, Keebler strawberry wafers, Rice Krispie treats, pretzels & sprinkles.
Filler ingredients: Brach's conversation hearts, animal crackers, Mother's circus animal cookies.
Follow the recipe below, or get creative and find any pink, red or white dessert to include on your dessert board!

Valentines Day Dipped Dessert Board
A tasty and colorful chocolate dipped dessert board with all things red, pink and white! Easy to customize, easy to make and a dessert for everyone!
- 1 bag Mother's Original Circus Animal Cookies
- 1 bag Brach's Tiny Conversation Hearts
- 1 bag pretzels
- 1 package Rice Krispie Treats
- 1 package fresh strawberries
- 1 bag semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 bag white chocolate morsels
- 2 tbsp coconut or canola oil ((to thin the chocolate for dipping))
- 1 package Keebler strawberry sugar wafers
- sprinkles of your choice (red, pink or white)
- 1 package animal crackers ((optional: I added these as a fill in for the toddlers))
-
Wash your strawberries and set aside on a paper towel to dry.
-
Open the rice krispie treats and cut each in half.
-
Gather the ingredients you will be dipping. Pretzels, rice krispie treats, strawberry wafers, strawberries and sprinkles for garnishing.
-
Lay out a long piece of parchment paper on a flat surface.
-
Add the semi sweet chocolate chips and 1 tbsp oil in a glass bowl and place in the microwave for 30 seconds.
-
Stir and return to the microwave for 15 seconds. Repeat this step until the chocolate is smooth and melted.
-
Begin dipping your ingredients and placing on the parchment paper to dry.
-
Add sprinkles to the desserts of your choice if desired.
-
Repeat all of the above steps for the white chocolate morsels.
-
Allow the desserts to dry for a minimum of thirty minutes before adding them to your dessert board.
*Allow the melted chocolate to drip off your treats for about 5 seconds before placing them on the parchment paper. The chocolate won't be super thick, and your treats and will dry much quicker.*
-
On a large platter, assemble all of your ingredients in a variety of patterns until the board is entirely covered.
-
Serve & enjoy!
Placing a couple small dishes with candies inside really adds dimension to your dessert board.
Feel free to customize your board and add your favorite Valentine's Day treats!
