Parmesan Butter Green Beans
These healthy parmesan butter green beans make a great side to any kind of Italian dish, or chicken dish! They are easy to make and packed with flavor.
I personally use fresh frozen green beans for this recipe, but canned green beans work perfectly as well!
TIPS: You may also use olive oil, or vegetable oil, in place of the butter.
Squeeze in the juice of one lemon to add a zesty flavor.
May use 1 tsp garlic powder in place of the minced garlic.
Parmesan Butter Green Beans
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter ((salted or unsalted))
- 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 bags frozen green beans
- 1 bag Picsweet Farms seasoning blend
- salt & pepper ((to taste))
- 1 16 oz bag shredded parmesan cheese

Place a medium size pot on medium heat and spray with non stick cooking spray.

Add olive oil, butter and minced garlic.

Once butter has melted, add frozen green beans, bag of seasoning blend and salt & pepper to the pot.

Simmer covered on medium heat for approximately 20 minutes, stirring frequently until green beans are tender.

Serve the green beans topped with shredded parmesan cheese.
