Crawfish Fettuccine Recipe

It's cheesy goodness and bold flavor will definitely have you coming back for more!

You'll need 1-2 lbs of fresh crawfish for this recipe! If your grocery store does not carry crawfish tails, most specialty meat stores will carry them.

Shrimp can easily be substituted for crawfish tails in this recipe if desired.

Crawfish Fettuccine

Check out this delicious cajun crawfish fettuccine! It's cheesy goodness and bold flavor will definitely have you coming back for more! 

  • 1 lb bag extra wide egg noodles
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 12 oz can evaporated milk
  • 1 5 oz can evaporated milk
  • 1 lb Velveeta cheese
  • 1 large onion ((chopped))
  • 1/4 cup green onions ((chopped))
  • 1 large green bell pepper ((chopped))
  • 1-2 lbs cooked crawfish tails
  • 1 tbsp parsley
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp all purpose seasoning or Tony Chachere's
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  1. Place a large pot on medium heat. Add butter and olive oil.

  2. Once butter is melted, add onion, green onions, bell pepper and parsley to the pan. Add small amounts of water as needed.

  3. While this mixture is simmering, cook the egg noodles as directed on the package. Strain and set aside.

  4. Sauté down until bell peppers and onions are translucent.

  5. Add crawfish tails to the pan and stir frequently for 10-15 minutes.

  6. After 10-15 minutes, add 1 (12 oz) can and 1 (5 oz) can of evaporated milk.

  7. Stir and add 2 tsp all purpose seasoning, garlic powder and salt & pepper to taste.

  8. Cut 1 lb of Velveeta cheese into small cubes and add to pot.

  9. In the meantime, preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  10. Allow cheese to melt on low heat. 

  11. Once cheese is melted, add cooked egg noodles to the pot.

  12. Stir mixture together and add to casserole dish.

  13. Add 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese on top and place in the oven for 8-10 minutes.

  14. Serve & enjoy!

If desired, substitute shrimp in this recipe in place of the crawfish tails.
