No Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Energy Bites

These delicious, no bake, peanut butter chocolate chip energy bites make for the perfect breakfast, or snack on the go!

An added bonus is that these no bake energy bites only take FIVE minutes to prepare!

They are packed with protein and easy to customize by adding your favorite ingredients.

I love to have a couple of them to get my sweets fix, after a workout or to bring as an afternoon snack at work.

I feel like I put everything but the kitchen sink in these energy bites! :) The recipe below is my favorite, but feel free to add some other fun ingredients you may have in your pantry!

I add these ground flax seeds and ground chia seeds to so many recipes to increase the nutrients and fiber in whatever I'm making! The best thing is, the kids never know the difference!

No Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Energy Bites

These delicious no bake peanut butter chocolate chip energy bites make a great breakfast, or a perfect snack on the go.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup low sodium natural peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp ground chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seeds
  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder (or protein powder of your choice)
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients together in a large bowl.
  2. Stir until ingredients are well combined.
  3. Form into small balls and place in a Tupperware dish lined with wax paper.
  4. Begin eating right after making them, or let them chill in the fridge for about 45 minutes to harden up some. 
  5. Store in fridge for up to 3 days.
  6. Enjoy!

Notes:

Get creative and add your favorite fix ins: dried cranberries, raisins, white chocolate chips, shredded coconut and more!
