The award is given to bloggers (by fellow bloggers) who help to spread a little bit of sunshine in the blogging world. They create inspiring, creative, and entertaining content. It is a great way to connect with others and continue building a community.

- How long have you been blogging?
- 2 1/2 months
- What is your favorite thing to do after a long day?
- Straighten up the house or watch a romantic comedy.
- How did you come up with your blog name?
- One of my best friends helped me dream it up. My last name is Berry so The Berry Basics was a perfect fit for me!
- What do you wish people knew about blogging?
- How much work goes into publishing and promoting each individual post.
- Do you have a special talent?
- I'm not sure if this is a "special talent," but I feel like I remain motivated & organized in overwhelming schedules or situations.
- What is something most people don’t know about you?
- I was homeschooled from preK - 8th grade.
- Are you type A personality?
- Absolutely!
- What is one of your biggest goals for your blog?
- To reach 1,000 subscribers!
- Do you enjoy DIY projects? If so, tell us about your favorite one.
- I love them! My favorite one was designing and tiling the bathroom in my previous home, or building my master bed frame.
- What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?
- Unforgiveness and bitterness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.
- What is your dream vacation?
- Going to the Maldives!
