3 Mantle Decor Ideas{The Rustic White Mantel}

This large rustic white mantel makes for plenty of room to be decorated!I was so excited to snap this picture with a fire burning because I live in the south, and let's be real, we only get to light our fireplaces a few days a year.I personally like to decorate mantels with an anchor piece in the center, symmetrical vertical pieces on the edges, and filler items in between. You might recognize the DIY hydrangea wreath centerpiece that I made a while back. In the above photo, I found the layered picture frames at a local secondhand store for a few dollars. I also found the set of 3 candleholders at a consignment shop for a mere $7!

{The Spring Mantel}

My sweet neighbor agreed to let me feature her rustic mantel on this post! YAY! She has such a knack for decorating and I love her spring themed mantel. She paired her decorations with a floor rug, blanket basket and a quaint chair in front of the fireplace!

Her spring decorations include a couple elegant ceramic bunnies, pink tulips and two rustic candle holders filled with ceramic speckled eggs. These mantel decorations can easily be customized to a year round look with different flowers in the vase, candles rather than eggs in the holders and a couple small figurines in place of the bunnies.

{The Traditional Mantel}

The next look pictured above is a traditional fireplace mantel with simple decor. The candle holders and small center vase were purchased at Marshall's, while the farmhouse style window in the middle was bought at Hobby Lobby during a 50% off sale.  While we chose to place a 5 top candle holder in front of the fireplace, a decorative fireplace screen would compliment the look as well.We really enjoyed creating these mantels and hope that this post brings you some fresh ideas to use while decorating your home!Please comment below with your favorite fireplace mantel centerpiece or decor!Come and see more from The Berry Basics on Pinterest or Facebook!You can also contact me via email at theberrybasics@gmail.comMore home decor posts you will love!DIY Accent Side TableDIY Re-purposed Window Shelf
