This dip is made using: refried beans, sour cream, taco seasoning, guacamole, garlic powder, black pepper, Pace picante sauce, shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, green onions & black olives.
I LOVE LOVE making this recipe in a glass dish because I think it's great to be able to see the layers on display when I'm serving the seven layer dip. It's perfect for Taco Tuesday, game day gatherings or any type of party!
My personal favorite thing to side with this dip is Late July chia & quinoa chips, but it does go great with any style of tortilla chips or Frito Scoops.

Delicious Seven Layer Dip Recipe
This easy-to-make, budget friendly dip is filled with layers of yummy goodness, and looks so classy in a clear glass bowl! It's perfect for Taco Tuesday, game day gatherings or any type of party!
- 1 16 oz can Rosarita's zesty salsa refried beans
- 1 16 oz tub sour cream
- 1 packet taco seasoning ((low sodium if desired))
- 1 dash garlic powder
- 1 dash ground black pepper
- 1 12 oz tub guacamole
- 1 1/2 cups pace picante sauce
- 1 8 oz bag mexican style shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup diced roma tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/8-1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1 bag Late July chia & quinoa chips
-
Choose a bowl to make your dip in. The one I use is 8 inches in diameter. I also think this dip would look great in a square shaped glassware.
-
Spread all of the refried beans at the bottom of your dish.
-
Next, spread all of the guacamole to form another layer of your dip.
-
In the tub of sour cream, add the packet of taco seasoning, a dash of black pepper and a dash of garlic powder. Using a spoon, mix the seasonings into the tub of sour cream.
-
Spread the entire contents of the sour cream mixture into the bowl for the next layer of your dip.
-
The next layer is made with 1 1/2 cups of Pace picante sauce.
-
Empty the bag of mexican style shredded cheese on top of the layer of picante sauce.
-
Top your dish with 1/2 cup diced tomatoes, 1/4 cup sliced green onion and 1/4 cup sliced black olives.
-
Serve your dip with Late July Chia & Quinoa chips, or your favorite style of tortilla chips.
-
Enjoy!
