I chose to use pale yellow and light blue for my bird nests, but feel free to get creative! Mix your food colorings to make some beautiful spring pastels!

I start by adding 1-2 drops of food coloring to the vanilla candy coating, and then add in more food coloring by 1 drop increments to darken the color to my liking.

Use this recipe to make a great dessert to serve for Easter, or a spring treat!

You could also use regular Cadbury eggs, jelly beans or mini Robin's eggs in place of the shimmering Cadbury eggs for your bird's nest cookies.
