Top 10 Easy Table Centerpiece Ideas for Your Home
Often times, the dining room table is the heartbeat of your family's home. You eat there, gather there, do homework there and so much more! Here are some simple, budget-friendly table centerpiece ideas for your home that will spruce up your dining room table!
It can sometimes seem so difficult to decide what the centerpiece of your dining room table will be, but I have found that I can almost always find the perfect centerpiece amongst the decor items already in my home. When I feel the urge to change my table centerpiece, I take a walk through the rooms of my house and figure out what can be used to make a new centerpiece. Not only does this challenge the creativity of your mind, but it is also FREE, which is the best part in my opinion!

Repurposed Pail
- I definitely don't have a green thumb, but I love the look of metal planter pails, so I decided to use this pail as my table's centerpiece. I grabbed some faux blooms I had and mixed and matched them to come up with this colorful design.
-
Very Vintage
- This vintage design was inspired by the old teapot passed down to me by my late grandmother. It pairs well with the various heights of the candle holders and looks perfect in the middle of the table, or on the buffet in our dining room.
-
Simple Coastal
- I don't know about you, but I love all things coastal, nautical and beach related. This centerpiece reminds me of hearing the sound of the ocean while my toes are buried in the sand each time. I love the great family memories it brings up in my mind while we are having a meal, and it gets me excited for any upcoming vacations.
-
Lemon Orchid
- This is one of my favorites! I paired yellow plates with white napkins and used a lemon as the centerpiece of each plate. You can tie the lemons into this design by having a canister in the center filled with lemons, or using the yellow blooms in an old half gallon milk vase. This design instantly brightens up your dining room with little effort on your part.
-
Farmhouse Floral
- Nothing says farmhouse charm like a white pitcher filled with blooms. I repurposed the wood block to establish the pitcher as the centerpiece of the table and give the design some added dimension.
-
Rustic Succulent
- I am finding out that succulents are one of the easiest plants to keep alive. They require little watering and look beautiful on the table scape. I will soon be adding more live succulents to my centerpiece! The old toolbox paired with the mason jar succulent gives this a very rustic, farmhouse appearance.
-
Modern Chic
- This long metal tray filled with decorative pieces is a very modern chic design that adds a little industrial charm. Sometimes less is more, and this design is a perfect example of that. The decorative metal tray pairs well with any season, and it is simple to modify the design by changing the filler decorative balls and pieces.
-
Lemonade Love
- Lemon table decor is my summer favorite! I always get positive comments from house guests when this is on my table. My favorite part about this design is making freshly squeezed lemonade once the decor has been up for a weekend of having family and friends over.
-
Coral Chic
- Coral is my favorite color for spring! I use this cute pail to put dinner napkins in on our table. The old wine bottle is filled with floral stems paired with the simple salt and pepper shakers from our table.
-
Fresh Fruit
- The color white always reminds me of clean, crisp & fresh; so pairing it with a vividly colored fresh fruit gets me extra excited! Not only does the color of the oranges pop in this design, but it is easy to change out and makes a great after school snack for the kiddos!
